Founded in 1848, we have one of the proudest histories of club cricket in Lancashire and an excellent ground at Bull Hey in the centre of Wigan.

We field four senior sides in the strong Liverpool and District Cricket Competition with our juniors playing in the Wigan and District Cricket League. Our aim is to offer the very best opportunities we can for all players to develop themselves in a safe and enjoyable environment. We have a strong coaching framework in place to support that, covering all standards from the youngest novice to elite players.  This is overseen by Lancashire Cricket Board Coach Chris Highton and our professional, Test cricketer Aaron Redmond.

All our coaches are ECB-qualified and CRB-checked, we're Sport England "Clubmark" accredited and we're a Lancashire County Cricket Focus Club.

Most importantly, we're a not-for-profit, community club that is open to all. Whether you want to play in one of our sides, or just enjoy some refreshments in the clubhouse, you will be warmly welcomed.

Winter Net Session - Juniors

The U9’ and U11’s training will be on a Wednesday night, 6pm til 7pm, and the U13’s and U15’s on Thursday night starting 6pm – 7pm, at The Deanery School in the sports hall. It will begin on January 24th for the 9/11’s and January 25th for the 13/15’s. We have booked for 10 consecutive weeks though we have just had notification that the hall may be unavailable early March for a couple of weeks due to exams. As this becomes definitive we will update you. The cost will be the same as last year, £30 for the full set of sessions or £4 a week.  We have a great group of qualified coaches for everyone from the youngest novice to development of elite players and are always keen for juniors to join us.  If you are interested in coming alone then please contact our junior cricket manager, Gary Yates
